Brazilian-born in Houston, Texas, Daniel Cará is a college student, founder, and driver of Cará Origin Motorsports. Focusing on the FIA Formula Regional and Formula 4 United States championships, Daniel has spearheaded a program to nurture young drivers into the premier leagues of open-wheel competition. With his family hailing from Brazil, he proudly races under the Brazilian flag as a tribute to their unwavering support, thus connecting his heritage to his passion for motorsports, which has now blossomed into a professional career.
The debut year of the team in the 2023 season have resulted in a top-four classification, with Daniel himself securing sixth place in the 40-car championship standings. The strides taken by the Cará Origin Motorsports team have earned the distinction of being the highest-ranked self-operated team in the history of the FIA Formula 4 United States Championship. With strong ties to his University, Houston based motorsport programs, and Brazilian heritage, Daniel continues to build a unique community within the motorsports world.
