Cará Origin Motorsports was created at the beginning of 2022.
The passion for motorsports is shared between family, and all of it originates from one name: Cará.
In partnership with the Formula 4 United States Championship Presented by Honda, our team introduces drivers into their first open-wheel step leading to Formula One.

Daniel Cará (22)
Brazilian-born in Houston, Texas, Daniel Cará is a college student, founder, and driver of Cará Origin Motorsports. Focusing on the FIA Formula 4 United States championship, Daniel has spearheaded a program to bring young drivers into the premier leagues of open-wheel competition. He proudly races under the Brazilian flag as a tribute to his family's support, and connecting his heritage to his passion for motorsports, which has now blossomed into a professional career.
The team's debut year in the 2023 season have resulted in a top-four classification, with Daniel securing sixth place in the 42-car championship standings. The Cará Origin Motorsports team have earned the distinction of being the highest-ranked self-operated team in the history of the FIA Formula 4 United States Championship. With strong ties to his University, Houston based motorsport programs, and Brazilian heritage, Daniel continues to build his own path within the motorsports world.
